Rear Patio for al fresco dining

Rear Patio for al fresco dining

Our garden is stunning in spring, interesting in summer, colourful in autumn and due to deciduous trees, appearing even larger in winter.  The paths have been widened to allow access to as many parts of the garden as possible to enjoy the views from different angles.  Greig Hill seen to the right of the castle ruins is the large hill referred to by the village name.  The hill in the distance viewed from the rear and side is the Skirrid or Holy Mountain, from the top of which equally Grosmont can clearly be seen.

Our stunning patio, from where access is easily gained both to the bungalow via the conservatory and directly into the garden room with its en-suite, is bordered by grass and seasonal flowers.   There is substantial wooden furniture, a sun umbrella and charcoal Bar-B-Q for your use as well as extra seating.

Access is also available to the covered porch/viewing area of a summer house where we provide a seat.

A selection of apple, plum, pear trees and herbs may be sampled in season and a wide variety of jams and preserves are available for sale for charity.

The majority of the garden is to the rear which is entirely fenced, but there is also an interesting garden to the front.
