Thanks Lynn for enabling us to have our first holiday together for 6-7 years. Places like this are hard to find. We’ve loved staying at your bungalow & having the hoist, profile bed & wet room provided for most of Mick’s needs.
Thank you for the lovely welcome pack too. We’ve visited 3 castles, Grosmont, Skenfrith and White Castle, been to Ross-on-Wye, Monmouth, Symonds Yat, Ewyas Harold, Abergavenny and Beaufort (the place of Mick’s father’s birth and childhood) & also plenty of relaxation in the bungalow and garden. We were blessed with probably the best weather of the Summer too. We love the views & local scenery & Tolly has been living his best life – chilling in the garden, swimming in the rivers, having treats in pubs and shops and lots of walks. Thank you for all the local info.

Thank you so much Lynn, for this opportunity to spend a week in your bungalow. We so appreciated all the facilities, and everything was perfect for our needs. We felt very at home and thank you also for all the thoughtful touches – the bread, welsh cakes etc were most welcome on our arrival and there was everything we needed (even down to the additional towels.) The area is stunning and your bungalow also meant we were able to take mum back to Abergavenny after many years. Thank you also for all the tips about the local area.
Warmest wishes and thanks, Colin and Angela Law, Becca and Carl.

Thank you Lynn and Megan, We had a nice stay at Homefield, without the equipment it would have been impossible forme to take Steve away for a holiday. Lovely surrounding area with plenty to do – or relax in the garden.
Best wishes Kay and Steve

We have just returned home after a holiday at Homefield.
The hosts were very attentive and friendly and welcoming on arrival. The communication prior was very good and the hosts could not do enough to help.
We found Homefield to be clean and spacious and it had everything and more.
Our eldest son is a full time wheelchair user and we found the disabled facilities to be fantastic. We used the hospital bed, mobile hoist and shower chair.
Homefield is the most accessible place we have stayed in with meeting our son’s needs. My other children benefited from the beautifully kept gardens and numerous board games available and unlimited WiFi for the pre teen with his playstation.
The kitchen is very well equipped with everything that you would need and we very much appreciated the home made bread and Welsh cakes on arrival.
My eldest son Jake who is 19 has a cocker spaniel dog who he is very close to was able to take his companion with him on holiday.
The village shop is very well equipped with everything that you would need. We enjoyed walks to Grossmount castle with our children and dog right on the doorstep of Homefield.
The neighbours in the surrounding area were very welcoming and friendly. We had a take away fish and chips at ewyas Harold. My boys loved the big pit mine and wheelchairs were able to go into the mine and access all the areas. We hired a beach hut in Barry for the day also.

“What a lovely surprise – a beautiful home away from home. Garden is ideal and allows dogs still to come on holiday and for a disabled person that means a lot. They are companions for isolated people. Yes, the dogs had a bark – both are rescue dogs- they loved exploring another garden. My daughter is confined to living housebound due to her physical health – for the first time since 2004 she had a break – Thank you.”

“Fantastic bungalow, so relaxing. Home from home. Beautiful area to walk around especially the castle, the views are stunning. It’s so hard to find a holiday home that is ‘disabled friendly’. But you have made this bungalow exactly that. PS your freshly baked welsh cakes and bread went down a treat. Will definitely be back” – Megan
“Your place is amazing! I didn’t get to meet you. I am M’s brother and only came up for the Friday night. Your home is amazing, what you do and the layout for disabled people is amazing. There are not many people like yourselves out there that take disabled people into consideration when renting holiday homes so thank you for the stay and thank you for being you and please keep doing what you’re doing. I will be putting a great review about your accommodation, Stunning bungalow” – M’s brother.
“Had a lovely time the bungalow was well equipped for my disabled son. Lovely places for accessible walks with the dogs, very central for everything. Would recommend for disabled and able bodied persons. Lynn was very helpful and gave us loads of information of places to visit. Sorry to be going home. Hope to visit again sometime in the future.” – Thompson and dogs xx

“Once again we’ve had a smashing stay at your lovely bungalow and so nice to see you both again. It’s hard to believe it’s nearly 5 years since we saw you both. It’s back to normality tomorrow. A good job we have good neighbours, lovely carers and a good council (Wigan), they’ve helped us so much. Once again, many thanks Lynn & Tony you’re sure to have two halos waiting for you upstairs.” – Doreen, Brian and Daren xxx
“Many thanks Lynn & Tony – we have had a lovely week here in Homefield – a really apt name it felt like a home – the garden a haven of peace and quiet with bird song for breakfast – not to mention raspberries and loganberries & a piano too – what else would you need. The location is so suitable within striking distance of so many places. Grosmont itself is a very friendly village.” – Phelan family from Waterford, Ireland.
“We have had a wonderful 3 weeks here, which unfortunately have gone all too quickly. We hope to come again sometime in the not too distant future.” – I,M,K & T

“We have had a really nice, calm and relaxing time. The house was lovely as is the area. This is definitely a place we would come to again. Thank you for a lovely warm welcome and time indeed” – I,J,M & J.
“We found Homefield on Disability Access Holidays website. We booked as were attending the Australia Pink Floyd concert in Cardiff and needed a property suitable for caring for my husband who has MND as a short life expectancy. Lynn & Tony were incredibly welcoming and Homefield soon felt like home. We have very much enjoyed our stay (& the concert) and making happy memories for me to cherish after A. passes on. Thank you so much.” – Hazel with Mr & Mrs C.
